Situated just outside the idyllic resort of Chatel in the massive Portes du Soleil ski area in the French Alps, Chalet Rustique is all you could hope for in a luxury catered ski chalet – a truly relaxing alpine retreat.

The open-plan design of the chalet is spacious and comfortable. All four of our en-suite bedrooms are beautifully furnished with all the little luxuries that will make your stay especially comfortable.

But what makes us stand out from other ski chalets is our very high standard of service, our attention to detail and the amazing cuisine you will enjoy throughout your stay. The freshly prepared food is an enormous part of staying at our catered chalet and guests have even been known to look forward to it as much as the skiing, thanks to Paolo’s Michelin Star training and absolute passion for cooking.

Self-catered chalets are perfect for those wanting to complete privacy in beautiful surroundings.

Chaletexperience.com has a variety of self-catered chalets which are very popular with our guests wanting to sample the variety of restaurants in Verbier.

Your resort representative will welcome you on arrival to the chalet, help with ski and boot hire, arrange lift passes and be on call throughout your stay. A welcome hamper is provided consisting (amongst other things) of champagne, breakfast cereals, jams, tea and coffee to help get you started. There is also a mid-week chalet clean and towel change.

Les Gets has been rated as one of the world's top ski resorts - by the Independant Newspaper in 2005 and the Sunday Telegraph in October 2009. It is a beautiful traditional mountain village with an excellent snow record.
Summer in Les Gets

In the Summer there are many activities: mountain walking, mountain biking, horse riding, climbing or simply relaxing by the lake which is just 5 minutes walk away. Les Gets is recognised as the best location in the world for mountain biking. There are also many events organised, examples are:

    * Paragliding competitions
    * The three day festival of mechanical music - the village is closed to traffic and there are many different performances.
    * Portues du Soleil Mountain Bike event
    * Four day festival of dance, at Avoriaz, with free lessons for all abilities on each day - great fun.
    * The Tour de France often goes through Les Gets (this year Lance Armstrong had to dismount just outside Bar Bush!)

• URL Shorteners and bit.ly type links not allowed.  Avoid any questionable linking practice like link cloaking.
• Do not insert manual signature links or spam other peoples threads with links unless it is appropriate. (this is what signatures are for.)
• When advertising a few links is ok, but more than a few links is an excessive amount and is done only by spammers.
• 50 Posts are required for signature links (this is to reward those who are active in our community).
• If you are posting a topic that includes a link it belongs in an advertising section of our forum.
• Do NOT link to any questionable websites or bad neighborhoods.
